Munich, and chicken pox

On Sunday we went to town to change our money. We are thinking of changing all our Dollars for Marks because we are scared that the Dollar will crash because of the Gulf War. We went the the Marianplatz, the big square with an exquisite Gothic Cathedral and a very famous Glockenspiel clock that plays off key music while figurines come out and dance instead of a cuckoo.
Then - Paz came out in spots, and for three days we were trying to get hold of her medical insurance people. At last we made contact and they sent a doctor around to the hostel. She had chicken pox! We had a good laugh, as there are tones of little brat children running around the hostel, and now they've probably all got it! We went looking for a chemist, we asked a policeman, in a police car, and he asked us to get in and he drove us to the chemist. It has surprised us how German policeman have been the nicest so far . So we were able to fill Paz's prescription.
We decided not to rush our look around Munich as hopefully we will be getting work and spending a lot of time here.
