Munich Labour office, again
Next morning we had to be at the Labour office early, so we gulped down a breakfast of rolls, cheese, jam and hot chocolate, and raced off into the subway. We have been buying one ticket and not clicking it, so that if an inspector comes on we can just play dumb. We got to the Labour office and waited in the appropriate room. I popped my head into the Au pair room, and said "Does anyone speak English?" The lady I was addressing just said "No" , and turned back to her work ignoring me. I asked at the next office and then the next, all with the same response, until I was standing in a room full of people ignoring me. I managed to mime what I was looking for and was told, Deutch only i.e. no English swine. Anyway we walked away from there with two little pieces of paper with names of Hotels on them, the Hotel Rafael and the Sheraton.
