A day in Innsbruck

We made up for not finding work by having some coffee and chocolate, then we decided we better forget the hotels for the day and rather go site seeing. So we went to the Tyrolean Folklore Museum. A beautiful museum full of articles from the 17oo's - 1800's, including reproductions of entire houses, and models. There were cribs, costumes, clocks, sleds and old furniture. They were very religious then, so a lot of the displays are Jesus suffering in various positions - depressing decor. Then off to the post office, and I got another letter! We both phoned home and I phoned friends in Israel. In the middle of the conversation they had to put the phone down because the sirens were ringing to tell then to go down to the bomb shelters. Saddam hasn't killed anyone in Israel yet, even though 100's of bombs have fallen.
We went to the supermarket, and bought some of their great dark bread, liver pate and German cookies. Munched them happily. Then Paz found some boots to buy, she really needed them as she has been in sports shoes up till now. We marched back to the hostel, with the only dampener on the day being that we hadn't found work. We still hadn't seen the Ghanaian guys so there was hope they could have come up with something.
